Reading this on a bus from London to Edinburgh

I read this book while traveling on a long-distance bus from London to Edinburgh. As the green hills of the English countryside flew past my window, I felt like I was crossing the border into Prythian myself. Let me share how it felt…

When I was reading the part where Feyre first arrives at the Spring Court, this part of the book really got to me. The way Sarah describes the flowers and the magic made me forget I was on a cramped bus. I could almost smell the roses. It made the long 8-hour journey feel like it lasted only a few minutes.

It took me 5 nights to finish it. I would read about 80 pages every night before going to sleep in my hotel. The chapters are so exciting that I often told myself “just one more” and ended up staying awake until 2 AM.

This book connected with me because it’s about a character who feels out of place but finds her power in a new land. As a traveler, I often feel like an outsider in new cities, so I really understood Feyre’s journey. My honest rating: 4.7/5.
