I read this book while traveling on a train from Stockholm to Copenhagen. Watching the Scandinavian coast passing by through the window while reading about the rainy streets of London and the sunny White House lawn was a great experience. Let me share how it felt. I was laughing out loud in the train car because the banter between Alex and Henry is so sharp and funny.

When the train was crossing the Oresund Bridge, the part where Alex finally realizes his feelings for Henry really got to me. It felt very real and moving. It took me 7 nights to finish it. I would read about 60 pages every night before bed. This book connected with me because it’s about the courage to be yourself when everyone is watching. My honest rating: 4.8/5.
